Cheryl Anne is a nonprofit development leader with over a decade of experience in fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and institutional giving. Before joining Sojourners as Director of Foundation Relations, she held senior fundraising roles at organizations focused on environmental conservation and education. In these roles, she secured funding from foundations, corporations, and individual donors, diversified revenue streams, and built partnerships. Her expertise includes foundation relations, major gifts, corporate partnerships, and strategic communications. She has a strong focus on aligning funding priorities with mission-driven initiatives and is passionate about advancing social justice and equity. She has also led high-performing fundraising teams, developed innovative new fundraising programs, and collaborated across departments to drive long-term impact.
Outside of her work with Sojourners, Cheryl Anne gives time to a number of other causes, including mental health and international development work, and she enjoys reading, photography, yoga, and swimming.
